The Grand

Dress: Guess
Bag: Borrowed from Chelsea
Shoes: Charles and Keith
Bracelet: Madagascar
Earnings: Hout Bay Marke
Necklace: Family heirloom

A few weeks ago it was one of my closest friend's (Lee) 18th birthday. She treated about 14 of us to a dinner at the Grand where reminisced about all the years we have spent together. The weather was excellent until we got to the restaurant where a thick cloud of mist decided to dwell over the party causing our pretty little summer dresses to become less appreciated...

I have blogged about this dress before where I raved about the bargain I am very proud of. I am still grateful for the generous sale which Guess held allowing me to basically steal this beautiful dress. The material is indescribable and falls perfectly when you wear it.

These have to be my favorite pair of shoes right now. A Charles and Keith has recently opened in Blueroute Mall. I immediately fell in love with their shoes the minute I stepped into the store. I had never been a fan of wedges until I tried these on. What I like about them is that you can dress them up or down. They are also extremely comfortable and I could wear them for hours on end.

Pretty in Pastel

Top: Topshop
Blazer: Topshop
Shots: Zara
Bracelet: Accessorize

This is my beautiful friend Lee Warren. She has the most beautiful wardrobe and I was so excited to rummage though it finding my favorite outfit. I love all the pastel colors. Such a great look for summer. The lighting was absolutely spectacular that evening which also complimented the outfit.

Such a wonderful summer evening with a great friend followed by a great dinner celebrating that I passed my learners license and my brother passed his divers! Quite an eventful day.

Going GAGA

Last night a few friends and I went to go see Lady Gaga's Born this way Ball live at the Cape Town Stadium. It was absolutely spectacular and was definitely worth all the waiting and pushing around. The stadium was packed but there was such an incredible vibe. Lady Gaga did little speeches in between songs. These made me respect her a lot more and the messages she is trying to express across to the world. She is truly remarkable. It was such an entertaining performance and I was genuinely impressed.

I'm so glad that South Africa is attracting bigger stars like Lady Gaga. As Lady Gaga said "You know you have made it, when you have made it in South Africa."

Justin Bieber up next! Now all we need is One direction... Aaaahh I'm such a girl...

I had the most amazing weekend with Lou. Our days were filled with many laughs, clothes and cake. I love her to bits and I'm so grateful to have her as a friend.

We traded clothes for this post. We just felt like wearing something comfy and cool for the spectacular day in Cape Town. I love Lou's leopard print high-waisted shorts that I'm wearing. I'm definately going to be checking out Jay Jay's for summer shopping.

I am in love with my new shoes from Woolworths. I have become a huge fan of studs so of corse when Chelsea showed me hers, I just HAD to get a pair. Sorry Chels... hahaha

Sorry for the lack of blogging. Been going through a hectic period of exams. But it's holidays soon so plenty more to come!
